How the math works
NGR starts from GGR, the gross gaming revenue your players generate. The calculator subtracts bonus costs, payment and platform fees, and an admin fee taken as a percentage of GGR. What remains is the net gaming revenue your RevShare percentage actually applies to.
The effective rate divides your RevShare earnings by GGR. It answers a simple question: of every dollar your players lose, how much reaches you. Because deductions come out before your share is calculated, this number is always lower than the headline rate on the agreement.
Programs define deductions differently, and two deals with the same headline rate can produce very different payouts depending on what is subtracted first. Read the NGR definition in any agreement before comparing offers on rate alone.

What is the difference between GGR and NGR?
GGR is the gross amount players lose. NGR is what remains after the operator deducts bonus costs, payment and platform fees and any admin fee. RevShare deals are typically calculated on NGR, which is why the deductions matter.
Why is my effective rate lower than my headline rate?
Because your percentage applies after deductions. A share of NGR translates to a smaller share of GGR once bonuses and fees are removed, and the gap grows with every extra deduction.
Are admin fees always a percentage of GGR?
No. Some agreements charge them on GGR, others on NGR or as fixed amounts. This calculator applies the percentage to GGR for simplicity, so check how your own agreement defines it.
