Table limits

The minimum and maximum stake allowed at a table or game, set by the operator per table and per bet type.

The minimum prices access, and online it runs from cents on RNG tables to tens of units at prestige live tables. The maximum manages the operator's exposure per round, and does a second, quieter job: it is the wall every doubling system eventually hits. A martingale starting at 5 against a 500 cap survives at most seven losses, a sequence that arrives far more often than intuition suggests.

Limits also segment the room: the same blackjack rules exist at 1 and at 1,000 minimums, with the VIP versions differing in service and stakes rather than odds. Bet-type caps inside a table, lower maximums on long-odds side bets for instance, follow the same exposure logic.

Why it matters

The maximum is the structural reason progression systems fail in practice as well as in theory, and the minimum quietly sets the real cost of a session: a table at ten times the minimum costs ten times as much per hour at the same edge.
